Inspirational Session: MOSMA Awardee from UNIDA Gontor Shares Success Tips for Top Students at IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon
IAIN Cirebon – In an effort to provide valuable insights for students eager to participate in the MORA Overseas Student Mobility (MOSMA) Program 2024, the International Office of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon collaborated with the International Office of Universitas Darusalam Gontor (UNIDA) to host an informative and inspiring session. The event served as a motivational platform for the top students of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon who are preparing to undergo the MOSMA selection process. The session took place on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
One of the highlights of the event was the presence of Arsyad Muhammad Ali Ridho, a student from the Arabic Language Education Department at UNIDA Gontor, who achieved success by being selected for the MOSMA program to Temple University, Philadelphia, USA in 2023. In this inspiring session, Arsyad shared his experience on how he managed to prepare himself effectively in a short period to participate in MOSMA.
Arsyad generously shared his success tips with prospective MOSMA participants, including the types of language tests required, the importance of researching the destination university, and identifying the names of professors whose courses will be taken there. The information Arsyad provided is expected to offer insights and motivation for those preparing for the MOSMA selection process.
An interesting aspect of this information session was the revelation that all expenses related to MOSMA will be fully covered by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) and the Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). This means that MOSMA participants only need to focus on preparing themselves for their studies abroad. This opportunity is certainly a breath of fresh air for students who have the potential and interest in developing themselves through international programs.
This event was an important collaboration between the International Office of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon and the International Office of Universitas Darusalam Gontor (UNIDA), aimed at providing support and guidance to students for participating in international programs such as MOSMA. It is hoped that this information session will serve as a positive starting point for prospective MOSMA participants in preparing themselves and realizing their dreams of studying abroad.
