International Office and Partnership Workshop: The International Office Team of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Successfully Organized an "Academic Writing and Speaking Workshop" Held at the 8th-Floor International Auditorium
UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati — Cirebon, July 17, 2024 - On July 16-17, 2024, the International Office team of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon successfully organized the "Academic Writing and Speaking Workshop" at the 8th-floor International Auditorium of the Siber Building. This workshop aimed to enhance participants' abilities to write clearly and precisely, as well as to speak confidently and impactfully—skills that are foundational to academic success.
The event, attended by dozens of participants, featured highly competent speakers who provided comprehensive material on effective academic writing techniques and persuasive public speaking strategies.
In his opening remarks, the Rector of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati expressed his deep appreciation to the International Office team for their hard work in organizing this workshop. He hopes that this event will serve as a starting point for students and faculty to become more confident in writing scholarly papers and speaking at international forums.
The first session of the workshop focused on academic writing techniques, with Mr. Syarifuddin, S.S., as the keynote speaker. The second session covered public speaking skills, including how to overcome nervousness, craft engaging presentations, and utilize effective communication techniques.
The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to consult directly with the speakers about the challenges they face in writing and public speaking. The organizers hope that similar events can be held regularly to support the academic development of the entire academic community at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati.
