The Cirebon City Government Supports a Strategic MoU Between UIN Siber Cirebon and WIFOG Germany for Global Human Resource Development
UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati—UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UIN SSC) has made another significant milestone by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with WIFOG, a strategic partner from Germany. The event, which took place at the 8th-floor auditorium of the new UIN Siber Cirebon building, was attended by several leaders from UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, representatives from campuses, schools, and Islamic boarding schools in the Cirebon Region III, as well as officials from the Cirebon city government on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Drs. H. Rokila, Head of the Public Welfare Division at the Cirebon City Regional Secretariat, attended this historic event on behalf of the city government. In his remarks, Drs. H. Rokila expressed the Cirebon city government's full support for UIN Siber Cirebon's initiative. He praised the progressive steps taken by UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon in forming a partnership with WIFOG, which is expected to create vast opportunities for students, researchers, and educators at UIN Siber Cirebon.
"This strategic partnership with WIFOG will open up extensive opportunities for students, researchers, and educators at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon to participate in international exchange programs, collaborative research, and the development of curricula aligned with global industry needs. This is a concrete step towards realizing UIN Siber Cirebon's vision of expanding its international network and enhancing its reputation as a world-class educational institution," emphasized Drs. H. Rokila.
The Rector of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, Professor Dr. H. Aan Jaelani, M.Ag., also expressed his joy over the establishment of this partnership. He emphasized that the collaboration with WIFOG will significantly enhance the academic quality, research, and learning at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, as well as strengthen cultural exchange between Indonesia and Germany. "We hope this partnership will position UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon as a center for global collaboration that contributes positively, not only to the Cirebon community but also to the international community," said Prof. Aan Jaelani.
With this MoU, UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon demonstrates its commitment to enhancing the quality of education and developing globally competitive human resources.
