Transforming Towards Global Excellence: IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Signs MoU with the International Cultural and Communication Centre Malaysia
IAIN Syekh Nurjati—IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon marks a new chapter in its educational journey with the virtual signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Cultural and Communication Centre Malaysia (ICCCM), a consortium focused on cultural and research initiatives based in Malaysia and supported by the International Transnational Education Association (ITEA) in China. Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
The enthusiastic presence of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon's delegation, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Aan Jaelani, M.Ag., alongside Vice Rector III for Student Affairs and Cooperation Prof. Dr. Hajam, M.Ag., Director of the International Office Lala Bumela Sudimantara, Ph.D., and the team (Ema Wilianti Dewi, M.Pd. & Refaldo Fanther, MBA.), including the Global Engagement Team comprising student digital content creators currently interning at the International Office. On the other side, ICCCM is represented by a solid team, including Ms. Loo Hui Ann as Managing Director, Mr. Benjamin as Deputy Managing Director, Ms. Cyntia as Indonesia Regional Manager, and Ivan Chabibilah as Business Development Executive.
Prof. Dr. H. Aan Jaelani, M.Ag., emphasized that the signing of this MoU is not merely a formal step but also marks the beginning of a significant transformation for IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Currently in the process of becoming UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, the institution is determined to establish itself as a globally competitive educational center. With this vision, IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon is positioning itself to become a premier destination for foreign students, particularly in the eastern part of West Java, stated Prof. Aan.
The Rector of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon and the Director of ICCCM share the same conviction and spirit, agreeing to forge a mutually beneficial long-term partnership. This collaboration is expected to provide strong support for the growth and development of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, opening doors to its best potentials and expanding its international reach and recognition.
